0-5k in 4 Weeks
0-5k in 4 weeks is a fun running group designed for complete beginners where we start with the basics and build up so everyone progresses together.
The group is aimed at those who feel they can’t run, those who have tried in the past but have struggled with breathing and those who are maybe already running short distances but don’t seem to be making progress.
You will learn:
- How your pace should feel for you
- How to breathe while running
- Simple tips to make running feel easier for you
The sessions are designed so that everyone can focus on themselves and this makes it easier for everyone in the group to progress. The thought of running 5km in just a few weeks can seem daunting at the start but it usually feels a lot easier by the time we come to do it.

No. In this group, we will be working on your form and as a result, you should start to find your runs becoming easier and be able to run further more comfortably
Yes. Progression in times from running a lot can be very limited. I will be able to help you to run more efficiently and you will begin to see a difference in your times
Yes! While we won’t be running 10km, the sessions will help you to step up the distance and possibly be able to run 10km better than 5km!

This week I completed Steve’s 0 to 5K. Five weeks ago I would never of thought I could run 5K I could barely run the length of myself. Today I managed to run my second run and quicker than the first one 🙂
