Welcome to 0-5k in 4 weeks!

Are you fed up trying to run and always feeling like you’re struggling to breathe? Do you wish you could get into running and enjoy it like everyone else seems to do? Have you tried running before but lost the motivation and feel like you’re back at the start again?

This group is for you!

The sessions are designed to help everyone make running feel easier so that they can begin to enjoy it and make the progress they want to see.

Who’s 0-5k for?

I started this group initially to help people who wanted to join a running group but didn’t think they were fast enough or feared they’d hold everyone else back.

It’s for people who want to get into running as part of their health and fitness goals or those who have tried running the past but not for some time and feel they’re back at square one.

It’s for people who want to overcome the challenges they’ve had with trying to run in the past and be able to do it for them and enjoy it!

Please come! Learning to run at a comfortable pace for you is what we work on and so it doesn’t matter how fast/slow or fit/unfit you are. Some of the biggest success stories from previous years have come from the slowest runners in their group.

That’s ok and this will be perfect for you! Everyone is encouraged to focus on themselves and how the run feels for them. Everyone will progress together so you won’t hold anyone back.

Yes! When we start, I naturally assume that everyone hasn’t run before or has limited experience so we start from scratch and build from there.

When and Where?

The sessions will be on Thursdays from 6.30-7.30pm.

Next group starts on Thursday 5th August.

The 4 week block costs £20

We meet outside Bells Sports Centre
