I’m here to guide you on your journey from where you are right now, help you move better and feel inspired to do things you never thought you could.
Personal Training
Personal Training is all about you, creating your own definition of what ‘fit’ means and creating a journey that’s meaningful to you, where you love being active for the challenge it gives you, the buzz you get from doing it and it feels like an important part of you, like how playing felt when you were a kid.
I design training around you, from where you’re at right now, get you moving more, moving better with exercises you can do anywhere, with what you’ve already got so you don’t have to go to a gym.
I’m here to guide you and support you every step of the way.
Run With Steve
Run With Steve is a running community in Perth designed to help you get into running, improve your running and train for your next race while being part of a wonderfully supportive group of people on the same journey.
Forget split times, target paces, trying to get a PB every time you go out. We work on how it feels instead. In our Beginners group, we focus on simply enjoying your running and find a pace that feels comfortable to you. At Run Better, we work on drills and techniques to help you feel lighter and springier when you run and where running quicker and getting PBs happen, often without even trying.
With my 1-1 coaching, I create training plans designed exclusively for you to help you on your running journey and some exercises to help you become the runner you want to be so that you’re not just trying to get round your big race but do it the way you want to do it.
Hi, I’m Steve. I wanted to become a Personal Trainer so I could help people do amazing things for themselves and feel the same way I felt after I completed my first marathon.
Back pain inspired me to take action on my own fitness so I entered the London Marathon and got in first time. Crossing the finish line inspired me to become a Personal Trainer and learning about mobility training helped me resolve my own back problem.
When I turned 50 in 2020, I felt inspired to go do things I hadn’t done before, do things better than I’d done before, lead a healthier, more active life as I get older and become the kind of person who’s still doing amazing things at an older age.
I want to help you do the same.

“Steve is something of a magician! Following a total knee replacement, I still had a pronounced limp and poor posture along with lower back discomfort and restricted hip and back mobility. Within a couple of sessions my gait had significantly improved, no observable limp, lost my stoop and was soon walking upright with much improved ease.
