Hi, I’m Steve

My back going into spasm when I was 26 inspired me to enter the ballot for the London Marathon, go in first time and crossing the finish line of the marathon inspired me to change career so I could help others do amazing things for themselves and feel the same way I felt.

Along my journey in fitness, I learned more about how the body actually moves, found a solution to my own back problem and now I feel lucky to be able to help others overcome theirs.

I believe that exercise should be enjoyable, feel like how playing felt when we were kids, do it to discover what we’re capable of and how it makes us feel.

When we make exercise enjoyable and feel like we’re playing, everything becomes possible!

Personalised fitness coaching for people in their 50s, or soon to be 50, who want to get into exercising more regularly, feel free from stiffness or pain caused by sitting behind a computer for years at work, build strength and fitness and do more as you get older rather than slow down and act your age and do it without joining another gym.

Run With Steve

Run With Steve is a running community in Perth, designed to help you wherever you’re at on your running journey. We have our Beginners Group for those starting out or getting back into running again, our Run Better sessions for those already running who are keen to improve their running and feel lighter and quicker when you run, without increasing the effort.

“Steve is something of a magician! Following a total knee replacement, I still had a pronounced limp and poor posture along with lower back discomfort and restricted hip and back mobility. Within a couple of sessions my gait had significantly improved, no observable limp, lost my stoop and was soon walking upright with much improved ease. I liked his approach of using the brain body connection and through the lens of joint mobility rather than muscle movement. This had an immediate impact on me.
